Miramar runs 14 miles east to west, and the homes change as you drive. The original 1950s streets between SW 64th Avenue and University Drive sit at one end. The late-1990s and 2000s subdivisions west of I-75, places like Silver Shores, Riviera Isles and Sunset Falls, sit at the other.
